Carob Rusk Yogurt Parfait
Carob rusk parfait with yogurt — a simple, quick, and refreshing yogurt dessert for any moment. This recipe combines carob rusks with yogurt, lime, and jam, creating a unique flavor! A recipe by Vassilis Patsis.
What we will need:
For the yogurt cream:
- 4–5 tbsp strawberry jam
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Zest of 1 lime and juice to taste
- 2 cups yogurt
- Carob Rusks
- Fruits of your choice
Execution:
- Lightly crush the rusks, leaving some texture.
- Gently mix the yogurt with the lime zest and juice.
- Add the cinnamon and 1 tbsp of jam to the yogurt mixture.
- Assemble in glasses: start with a layer of yogurt cream at the bottom, add a layer of crushed rusks, then a spoonful of jam. Continue with another layer of yogurt cream, and finish with rusks and fresh fruit of your choice.
- Chill for 1 hour before serving.
