Savory Tartlets with Organic Oat Rusks

For our savory tartlets, we used Organic Oat Rusks with no added salt.

What we will need:

  • 6 Organic Oat Rusks
  • 3 tbsp Cretan extra virgin olive oil
  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 100 g corn
  • 2 tbsp mint
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 carrot
  • Fresh basil

Execution:

  1. In a blender, add 6 broken oat rusks and the olive oil and blend. When you have a uniform result, your base is ready.
  2. In a bowl, add the cream cheese, boiled corn, and mint, after first chopping it finely. Mix very well until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
  3. Cut the cherry tomatoes, and slice the cucumbers and carrots into ribbons.
  4. Use a pastry ring to assemble the tart. For the base, add the crushed oat rusks and press it well.
  5. Add the cheese mixture on top and decorate with the cherry tomatoes and vegetable ribbons.
  6. Carefully remove the ring, and your tart is ready.
