Mexican Nachos with Toasted Bread with Turmeric and Mustard
Mexican nachos — or Ntourou “nachos” — with Toasted Bread with Turmeric and Mustard, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheddar, and fresh onion! The ultimate snack for a night with friends! A recipe by @chrissaiscooking!
What we will need:
- 1 pack Toasted Bread with Turmeric and Mustard
- 200 g grated cheddar
- Cherry tomatoes
- ½ avocado
- 1 fresh onion
- 1 pack sour cream
- 100 g minced meat in chili sauce (optional)
Execution:
- Dice the cherry tomatoes into small cubes and mix with fresh coriander, chopped spring onion, salt, pepper, and a little olive oil to make pico de gallo.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and add a layer of Toasted Bread with Turmeric and Mustard. Sprinkle with grated cheese and half the minced meat. Add another layer of toasted bread and plenty of grated cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Transfer to a platter and top with the pico de gallo, the remaining minced meat, avocado, and finely chopped fresh onion. Add spoonfuls of sour cream over the top for freshness.
- Enjoy with beer, drinks, or cocktails with friends!
