The Chickpea Fritters with Carob Bites

What we will need:

  • 300 g chickpeas
  • ½ bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 150 g grated Carob Bites
  • ⅓ tsp cumin
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • A little flour for coating

Execution:

  1. Soak the chickpeas in a bowl of warm water, cover, and leave for 24 hours.
  2. Drain the chickpeas and blend them in a food processor. Place all the ingredients in a bowl, knead well, and let rest for about 30 minutes.
  3. Shape into patties, coat lightly with flour, and fry in olive oil on both sides until golden.
  4. Serve, optionally, with a refreshing yogurt dip!
